my girl is studying in funful from N to K2 now. I like it very much. the school teachers are very caring .All the " EE " can call out the names of the students when they enter the school in the morning . The teachers can match the parents with the students without looking at the name on the student collection card when we pick up the kid afterschool ( can you imagine that ? ) The students and the class teacher will remain the same if the kid stay there so the environment is rather " stable " for them.
There is little " mo liu " parent's activities. I only need to go to the school picnic and Sports day and open day if I want to . They don't ask for complicated classwork ( which can only be done by the parents ) . There is not much additional " misc fee " . They have monthly b-day party ( no extra charge ) and they do have NET teacher too .
Just that the syllabus is a little advance ( and I didn't know before ) . K2 students need to write rather complicated Chinese words and do dictation of these words weekly. They have English dictation weekly too . They also need to do " mental test " every week or so , eg, the teacher says " 1 plus 2 equals to ? " and they write down the answer. There is also " fill in the blanks " for English worksheet paper in 2nd half of the yr..
but overall , I am very happy with it . |
