資優孩子 與 名校?

我知道"資優"孩子和"積優"孩子是有分別的.

在選校(小一)的時候,是否要考慮這個因素呢?

追捧名校是否只會帶來壓力呢?

如果選高了一線或傳統名校,會否帶來壓力,弄巧反拙呢?
或是可以更能幫助孩子提升其能力呢?

如果選低了一線,會否局限了孩子的能力呢?
或是更開心? 更加可以自由發揮其所長呢?

請問有無家長可以分享一吓?

If the school accepted your kids, means they can handle and we (parents) also need to help our kids if they have any questions.  Try our best to solve their quiries.   I knew all famous schools provide many IQ test and memories training in school.  We only spend 1 or 2 hours for the revision everyday.  It is easy to catch up.

Parents & School co-op , kids are lovely with millions thousand questions in their mind!  They dont know what is good or bad.  We need to teach them and always be their teacher at home.

One method is: you pretented a student and ask your kid to be a teacher.  They all like to show you what are they learning at school.   

This morning, my boy acted as a teacher and show me his classroom at home.   He wrote some words on the blackboard : ball, bell, boy, dog, doll ....to teach me.  Afterthat, he gave me some books coz it 's reading time.  "Just read, cannot talk..." teacher said.  And than, he said Play-time " You can go to the movie's rooms to see film. Which film you like?" During 30 mins, he show me all his school-life.  
I think this game is so funny.   We find new words in Dictionary  and write down on the paper.

All kids are smart and like to play, we must spend 30-60mins to play with them everday.

Study is not very hard, just like  memories / IQ games.   Times go so fast, Kid's mind grow so fast too.

資優是因為沒有太大壓力，通常資優生進入小學開始遇到強力打壓，到小二至小三 d 資優能力差不多玩完。

幼稚園比較開放，所以資優能力通常在這時候孕育。

名校通常帶來極大壓力，但世事無絕對，如果學校教學進度太慢，資優生又會覺得無瘾，資優能力一樣會萎縮。

學校是不可能孕育資優的地方，即使是頂尖資優教育，也只能提供閞放的學習環境，無法教育資優，因為引導資優並非老師的能力範圍。

通常資優人是家長引導的，或自己引導自己。

我是資優中年人，我要資優到老，到......

最緊要有一個開放o既環境俾小朋友, 鼓勵小朋友做得好o既地方, 同時都要教佢地面對競爭同壓力, 接受自己。我覺得家庭教育反而係最緊要。

係唔係名校唔緊要, 要睇遇到的老師, 有d老師會好唔鐘意資優生, 因為佢地成日問問題, 挑戰老師, 所以佢地會將資優生同「麻煩友」連埋一齊。

除左教小朋友讀書, 我覺得仲要教佢地明道理。

絕對同意，我大仔係資優仔，學校向該區屬 band 1，呀仔成績頭三名（数學較突出）．但佢個班主任老師就成日投訴佢．話佢搶答問題（將答案讀出），上堂唔集中，周身郁，聊同學，　無愛心等等．仲同我講話對我個仔無晒符　最後仲將佢隔開一個人坐，免佢滋擾其他小朋友．

如果老師唔識處理呢類型既小朋友，家長都好辛苦！

多可惜! hope his class teacher can take some courses on how to hope with gifted child and be more open-minded.

各位:

資優唔代表讀書叻, 考試勁, 有好些資優生成績表科科紅, 選高了一線不代表幫到他們發展, 選低了一線也未必是局限!讀間唔合適學校的話, 唔好想着轉校! 跟本香港沒有一間是資優學校! 找些課外活動給他們學, 從中發掘他們的長處吧!

Parents are the head teacher of them.
We need to find many difference kind of activities and spend a lot of time to take care kids, talk with them, read some extra-knowledge books with them.
To bring them for swimming, singing, painting, play piano and also practise with them everyday.

Parents need to spend a lot of effort on them.
We have to discuss our daily news, science, gov't policy, marketing knowledge, cash valuable, speed of transportation, the uses of insurance, hospital, how to use fax machine, computer, learn our history or spirit or UFO.  Do you belive God or not? ...etc..

Difference kind of knowledges or questions all around us and we need to explore our mind with our kids.

Dear Bonnie

My son's case is very similiar with your son's.  He always sit alone besides teacher's desk.  Now, he is receiving therapy (just 2 times) from a counsellor at bgca.  How about your son's?  Any improvement?

sorry, 恐怕情況仲壞 ..依家連學校社工都介入...anyway, 我決定轉校 ..已經搵倒, interview完　．下學年度會轉．

希望呢間直資學校(sort of international) 會啱 feel 啦.  我只想個仔可以開開心心返學學0野, 唔會俾人歧視 ..  呀仔都好like呢間學校，仲想即刻去讀呀．．

My son is gifted and he studies at a famous DSS school and in fact I think it suits him very much.  Before he has changed to this school he was top in a traditional band-one school and although he was top there it seemed that the teachers were not aware of his abilities and they only treasured quiet "good" students. In this DSS school his abilities are ascertained by given a lot of opportunities like being group leaders, prefect, and representing the school in inter-school competitions.  And in this  famous DSS school he can find a lot other gifted children and he is not alone anymore and at least he can find somebody who can discuss his areas of interest.  During lessons he can make presentations on his findings to the whole class and appreciated by the teachers and other classmates.

其實資優生未必一定適合名校, 唔係話佢地能力有問題, 不過佢地有時興趣側埋一邊, 對住自己唔鐘意既, 會好唔合作都唔定, 如果學校唔包容都幾難攪, 如果無特別資源配合, 又side左小朋友才能
雖然香港無一間專for資優學校, 不過, 好多新思維直資會比較肯投放多d資源去培育呢班學生, 例如, 平時功課除左一般野, 仲預備左d挑戰worksheet鼓勵學生去試(等佢地唔會悶), 而當學生高年班d, 仲會安排一d高難度workshop/交流, 滿足佢地要求
