如果係我就唔會啦, 因為有D學校不太歡迎資優學生, 因沒有特別配套給資優學生, 有D學校可能怕這些學生較不專心, 影响其他學生。
Be honest most schools didn't have extra resources and support from EMB, unless some DSS schools may put more resources to gifted kids.
Some gifted kids may have emotional or social skills problems, but not all of them. The most important point is some school teachers need to be trained to teach gifted kids. My experience is some teachers they didn't received training on gifted kids education, they have many misunderstandings on gifted kids like ourself.
Most Principal or headteacher likes gifted kids, but not all teachers.
For the strategy, don't too emphasise on giftedness (more precise is high IQ score only), present the kid in more all-round or balance performance in multiple-intelligence scope. WSIC IQ report only as an attachment for school reference only, no harm. Also, in the covering letter describe how the parents help the kid to sharpen the giftedness and multiple-intellifence. Most schools buy this strategy.
