Pack lunch for ESF Bauhina School

Dears,

Coming Friday is my daughter's 1st school day in Bauhinia. As the school is not far away, would anyone adv. me if my maid can go there to delivery the lunch box to my daughter or my daughter should bring it by herself? I tried to contact adm. office many times but in vain. If you have children studying in ESF, pls adv. Tks.

In my boy's school - Beacon Hill, it is not allowed to bring lunch to him.  He much bring it by himself.  

Does your girl study P.1 in Bauhinia?  My friend whose hubby is working in Bauhinia told me Bauhinia did not admit P.1 student this year because they are going to move very soon.  Is it true?

It would happen about 2005-06, they would spit to two new school, locate at Discovery Bay and Ma On Shan.

Your daughter's photo is quite smart. Was it taken by school photographer? Besides, I want to ask you about the Chinese standard of this school. Are your daughter taking any Chinese tutorial? I arranged my daughter to learn Mandarin at Kumon last month. Hope it can help to improve her Chinese standard. Tks for yr kind atttention.

Dear MomMom & Ho_Ma_Ma,

She is studying in Bauhinis School now. Yes, the pic took from the school photographer, they came to take the pic every year.

Well, be honest, I am afraid that she can not write chinese, but actually she can speak cantonese quite okay, she would not able to understand if you talking some kind of difficult or proper written sentence or slang, she will need me to explain it then. I did not enroll the Kumon Mandarin class for her, because I live in Tung Chung, too far, I will have to take a bit journey to the nearest area,such as Tsing Yi, but the fares is too much for both of us for going to take one class like this. I did enroll the Math class for her last year, I found out that she was getting complicated translate from Chinese to English, because the teacher spoke Cantonese, and my daughter needs always to translation of every question and formula, so finally I give up.

Dear Mom Mom,

Actually, my daughter has attented Kumon Chinese one month only. I think she enjoys its much as she requests to listen to the provided CD & practise Mandarin every night.

Dear CherylMum,

In this stage, teacher has not yet taught pin-yin. They focus on vocabulary. My daughter needs to listen to CD & see the picture + words. So far, my daughter is still interested in it.
