How to rank the secondary school?

How to rank the below school?  Are they all in Band 1?

聖芳濟書院
香島中學
德望中學
何文田官立中學
英華中學 (深水埗)
九龍華仁
基督教祟真中學

It's difficult to rank as some are boys schools, some are girls and also mixed, but I think Wan Yan is the No. 1 amongst those.

I definitely don't need girl school.  I just collect the information from bk and seems these schools are quiet good.  Can anyone help?

In term of HKCEE results from the past years,

1. Queens
2. Wah Yan (HK)
3. La Salle
4. Wah Yan (Kln)
5. DBS
6. DGS
7. St Paul's Co-ed
8. St Joseph (HK)

What does it mean "in term of HKCEE", if you count how many 10A students for the past 10 years -- yes, you are right.  But if you say how many "A" of each student get in HKCEE, it should be St. Paul Co-edu.  This is reflected the true picture for all students instead of just a small group of them.

You're right. I counted on  the number of 10A students of HKCEE based on the statistics of Sing Tao Edu Net in the past 10 years.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear what you said regarding St Paul's Co-edu cos my kid is going to attend this primary school next academic year.

Thank you. Just encourage your kid to put her best effort.  If she gets the offer, it's the biggest bonus of this year. If not, it's not really a big deal. You still have many things to think & do. e.g. knock the other 's school door, prepare F.1. syllabus...& plan for summer holidays etc.

I support you to try. At least she may has a chance to face the failure. It's a part of AQ that we need to train our kid too.

I think if you just count on 10A for the HKCEE will not be that fair. As I know, some good schools won't encourage the students to take so many subjects for their HKCEE. Maybe just 8 or 9 subjects only. So maybe that will get all 8As or 9As. Do you know what I meant?

Yes, If I was not mistaken, Harry Potter mentioned that we could measure  the average number of As that each student received in HKCEE with reference printed on  Ming Poa's 'Secondary School Bible'. However, some of the schools did not disclose their info. e.g. DGS..So, there is still some limitation to get the data.

Of couse, we cannot rank the school based on the academic achievement. Every parent has their own criteria to rank the school. BK here is free for us to express our view. I just shared some real previous data. I was gald that Harry had already elaborated my expression before.
