bilingual or international nursery?

I plan to send my daughter to international kindergarten when she turns three years old next year.  However, the schools I like do not have nursery classes and I am finding a good nursery school.  There is no good international nursery near my living area.  I am struggling between letting her study in a nearby bilingual school and a faraway international school.

I am afraid that if she studies in a bilingual school, she will not speak English but Chinese all the time and will fail the K1 admission interview.  Anyone here can share her experience?

If your daughter has been speaking English solely to someone at home on a daily basis, then she should be OK.  Not every child will be able to master fluent spoken English from just attending an International Nursery.

Where do you live?  I have the same case as you.

same case here, we live in Yuen Long and my daughter will attend Nursery in Creative (YL) in August and we like her to study K1 in Kowloon Tong next year.  Creative is Chinese speaking I believe so I dont know my daughter will be able to get a place in an international kindergarten or not for next year.
My husband speaks English to her she understands, she knows 1 to 10 and A to Z in English, some other simple words like cat, dog, taxi, turtle etc, not sure this is good enough.  BTW, she is 21 months old.
My parents and I speak Cantonese to her and her understanding and speaking are even better.
I hope she will be admitted to a good one next year but still searching for the good ones.

i certainly like my daughter to go to the top girl primary school (local), so i am thinking to send her to an international kindergarten for K1, for better English, then hopefully she can be admitted to CCKG for K2 K3, followed by DGS......if she is capable
we can't afford the tuition fees for international primary and secondary schools you see
if you have any advice, please share

I live in Hong Kong Island (West). Many famous primary and secondary schools in my district. The nearest kinder is Victoria (Belcher's), the playgroud full already.  For nursery, need to apply in September this year.  Actually, I think the school fee is quite expensive ($3750/month). I will shift my child to an international kinder in K2 (if possible).
