April Intake

Can anybody tell me if my child is accepted for the April (K1) intake, does she have to graduate in March 2007?  If yes, what if she goes to some international school that only has intake in September?  Does that mean she'll have a long holiday from Apr – Aug 2007?  

Also do you think a child who just turns 3 is ready for school?  My child still needs the maid to stay with her in the playgroup although the other children are comfortable with their maids staying outside. I'm afraid it will be all crying for the first few weeks of school.

We haven't received a formal offer but just when I was discussing with my husband about KBCK, he had these concerns.  And we both forgot to ask during the interview.  

When the teacher took her hand to show her the class, my child seemed ok.  She didn't cry and was busy playing with the toys.  So after the interview, I asked her whether she liked the school, the teacher and the children there and she said yes.  But when I asked whether Mommy could stay outside while she was there, she said no.

I called the school and found out that my child could stay till Jun 07 even if she starts in Apr 05.  They're also very flexible and helpful as I may let my child start in Sept should I feel that she's not ready now.
