請介紹國際學校(幼兒/稚園)

我打算比我個女讀國際學校, 不過唔知邊間好, 同埋會唔會好難入? 需要咩資格例如小朋友要識D咩, 需唔需要英文好叻等等, BB宜家3個幾月, 因為我怕我手腳慢, 心大心細選擇好耐, 又要時間教好BB, 所以一早問定各位, 請各位比D意見, 我地家住港島區, 所以學校都係港島會比較好, 謝謝~

我bb而家7個月，都係諗住讀international preschool, 我都係住hk架，而家又同你一樣係心大心細

我有留意以下幾間，但大部份在kln/NT :cry: 得一間small world christian kindergarten在hk
你有無乜野idea 呀??

睇過Sandrine個website原來都有好多學校係香港區, 不過睇完仲心大心細, 因為大部份都係聽過但唔了解, 比較清楚就只得ESF, Victoria, Hong Kong International School同Woodland, 都唔知邊間好......

I'm also choosing a suitable international school for my son.  I would like to remind you that, from my experience, some schools declare themselves international schools, however, indeed, to my understanding, they merely provide course taught by expat.  Be careful.  As I know, Victoria is not an international school.

Did your kids or you know any kids studying in small world kinder? I heard that it is good. However it have no primary and secondary school. Do u know which school the kids will go after graduate from the kinder???

My husband is the same too. The only things he will said  is 'oh, that school have swimming pool, that school look very old....' and he said 'our girl speak English should look very funny...haha'. I also learn many things from other BK mums.

是我朋友的小朋友在那裡就讀，她說老師很專業，很懂得關心小朋友，至於小學這要看妳的選擇，有些孩子會去ESF，有些去CIS，還有其它的International school。

如果想一條龍直升致中學，ESF是不錯的選擇。

To Babyoush & Harris,

Make sure you ask yourself why you want to send your children to an international kindergarten (for their culture?  for easy transition to an international primary school?)  The Chinese standard in most international kindegarten is low and it'll be difficult for them to be accepted/get adjusted to a local primary school.

Also, if you have time, pay a school visit to these schools during regular class times and see for yourself how the teachers teach, how happy are these children, etc.  You'll be surprised what you see is not what you expect that school to be.  And what's right for others might not be right for you or your children.

Finding the right school is a long and laborious process.  And you'll realize there's no "perfect school" out there.  good luck!
