Re: Kumon Chinese/Maths
My girl studied kumon chinese for over 5 years. Kumon requires lots of initiatives on the part of the kid and lots of assistance from parents. The half an hour session is simply not good enough to develop spoken mandarin. The best part of it is the development of reading skills. Now my girl can read chinese subtitles on movies. But cannot compose anything meaningful in chinese.
Maths? Personally I don't like the maths system at all. |
