profilo / 面試特別招數 - 溫馨家庭照有助加分嗎？

各位媽媽，我想聽下大家既意見呢..

我有個朋友之前帶左2個囝囝去影戶外照片，影左一路同囝囝玩一路好開心既相.. 因為一路玩一路影既關係，顯得好溫馨添~ 囝囝表現得好活潑可愛好動.. 佢話想俾學校一個好印象，呢d相佢預備用黎放入profilo 或者 面試時俾老師/校長睇既.. 顯得囝囝活潑，同時顯得熱愛家庭，愛大自然咁話.. 其實我都會book左去影了.. 因為d相真係好靚.. 當然都想用黎有助面試啦~ :wink:

我想聽下大家既睇法，如果係你.. 係會將d相放入profilo好.. 定面試既時候先俾校方睇呢？

International schools will not consider this.

For application to international primary schools, do we have to prepare a "profilo", like what some parents do when applying to local primary schools, especially the famous ones?  Grateful if you could share your experience. Thanks.

Dear tea007,

International schools (eg. ESF) are not looking for something like some traditional school at all.  During interviews, they ask you about your child and daily life and you can tell them about the activities you do with them but they are not interested to see photos or even school reports.  I brought my child's kindergarten report and they took a glance at it and that's all.   They are not looking for kids with high academic achievements or music or other awards.   

However, this is only limited to ESF schools I know.  For other international schools, you  need to get info. from other parents.

Many thanks, Aling, for your information. Other than oral English standard which ESF schools can assess on the spot during the interview, do you know what else do they consider?

Does any parent know whether CIS or HKIS will expect "profilo" (or the type of information typically included in one) during their interview or assessment for admission?  Thanks.
