Nursery class就開始教phonics，由A開始教，會唱一首歌，很易pick up。

K1 下學期教認 A - Z Letter Name, 唔係Phonics sound.  
k2 上學期開始教 Phonics sound, what begin with A - Z, 寫大細階,  read oxford reading tree books, 要認 "the, and, Mom, Dad" 等生字, 下學期未知

For the book list, there is the item of phonics CD for parent ? Then there is no phonics taught in K1 ?? I am confused.

As I remember, the CD script is like this, "single sounds of phonics will be taught in lower class" (i.e. K2), I think St Cat give the CD to the parents in K1, so that the parents can prepare to teach their kid in advance.  

The weekly syllabus for K1 do not have phonics sound.  But I dont know whether the teacher will include this when they sing songs to the kids.

路過見到大家講開 sc 的英文, 想問一下 sc k幾先教全個英文字的讀音 ? 好似教得慢過樂基 ?

樂基ascot, pn 時開始教部份字母的單音 phonics sound. k1 上學期一星期教一個, 同時教埋字母.  the, mom, dad, where, look, is it , etc....生字 k1 上學期在 reader 中認&讀.   oxford reading tree 在 pn 時已看少少最基本那個 level, k1 用 reading 360.

而家d BB 班叫做pre-nursery
年代不同了；）

學校教得幾好
阿女而家upper差不多所有英文字都可併音讀出
