P5小朋友成績跌左，好唔好Cut左他鐘意但Sai時間的的課外活動

請問P5小朋友，若果今次期中試成績跌左，由平均分90降到80，原因是大意、根基不穩及休息不足，因為下學期要呈分試，若想報讀稍為好一點的英中，有何補救辦法?好唔好Cut左他鐘意但Sai時間的的學校課外活動? 若中途cut左，會唔會令他響學校受影響?(因為當時係老師幫他報的?)

Don't think that it is good to cut his favourite activities, the kid will be more unhappy and may affect his results more.  It is more the problem of managing time well and be more careful and focus in doing his work.  If want to cut, should cut the time for TV, chating on phone or ICQ.

Try to work smarter, not work for longer time.  This is always true for doing anything.

係乜活動?  有冇機會攞獎? 可否幫佢係自行時加分?  如果係否定的, 我會cut, 始終成績緊要啲. 老師都會明白的, 唔會影响嘅. 如成績跃出band 1 , 想入英中都幾難.

你問小朋友, 十樣都話鍾意, 你應為他作出選擇. 我在P6時都把呀女所有Saturday的課外活動cut晒, 比她多些時間休息, 上堂也專心d. 因有聽她說有同學上堂睡覺, 試問咁點會有好成績呢. 可能好多家長都有同一experience, don't be upset la.

A P.5 student is not that small already, he/she is able to know what are his/her favourite activities.  At this age, it is better to focus on one to two activities which are most favourite.  If cut all activities, it is not healthy for a kid. We need a balanced life.

My daughter is also studying at P.5, she still joins 2 activities at school (just for play) and 2 more activities on weekend (more for continuous development).  She enjoys them very much and also learn to be more concentrate in doing her homework by herself.
