Agree with leehoma001. In my opinion, GSIS students mustn't be very very rich but their parents must be top professionals rather than businessmen. Apart from their high academic standards, their discipline are very good too. It's really hard to get a place in their primary. For those who did, they must be very smart and outstanding.
I got to know some of my friends whose children are studying at GSIS. I may say that they cannot be clarified as rich family, just middle-class with stable income. But then they are willing to spend all their money on their children's education. They thought education is the permanent asset of the children in future. On the other hand, some of my really really rich friends just put their children in local government subsized primary school. They said this is our benefit from the government - 9 years free education. Why don't we take it? You see, it just depends on the attitude of the parents towards the education of their children. Above all, GSIS is a good school. |
