全港有這麼多間的國際學校，究竟哪些較好？

是否越好的就越難入得到呢？

請賜教！

大多數國際小學都很好, 教學生動靈活及全面,語文有保障,喜歡閱讀,不壓抑孩子活潑的個性,全人發展較理想.  中學要慎選, 主要是校風問題.

Agree very much with you.  For secondary school, do you know if the 校風 of ESF secondary (Shatin College, KGV or Island School) and the new Renaissance College is good or not? Pls give me some advice.  Thanks a lot.

Island School 比較好, 外國家庭多,反比富有的中國家庭樸實.

ESF schools, restricted by school zone system,
you can not choose which one to apply

I don't mind moving.  So would like to know which is better before making a decision.

想進國際小學當然是想英語好, 包括發音 , 家長課餘主攻中文和音樂,我會選外籍孩子多的, 免得英語說得怪怪的.

where is your kid studying at now ?


the big boys and girls at my son's school speak excellent English, but for lower grade kids, i have reservation due to " NO " native speaker kids.

i have tried my best to search a good school, cannot help much on this issue.
And he cannot go to ESF due to "local Chinese status" .

For kids on HK side, there is one new ESF Discovery Bay Private School to be opened by 2007 (continuation of existing ESF Bauhinia and move to new campus in Discovery Bay by 2008).  It is similar to Renaissance College, with year 1 to 13, no catchment area requirement, but is half the size of RC.  Most students there will be DB residents, which are foreign kids.  They target to accept kids with local residency, so offer another choice other than ESF schools.

How about accent, which accent you prefer, US, UK, Canadian, Aussie or even Singlish. To me, UK is my first choice, if ESF door is not open, try HLYIS. Is far, but it has many foreign kids.

This school sounds attractive.  If they target at kids with local residency, the chance for outsiders may be minimal.  Also, the fees are more expensive than RC.

Location is again another concern.  Do you know how we could go there?  By Ferry via Central?  Is it the only way?  Do you know that whether we could go there through MTR Tung Chung line?

May I know how much the school fee for the Discovery Bay PIS is?  I supposed that it's more or less the same as that of RC, as they claim of the same running mode.
