Piano 1 to 1 Query

hi,

my son is 3.5 yrs old and starts learning piano at the teacher's home for 1 month already.

He is learning 30min each time. She is charging $160 per lesson, is that fair? She said she has taught piano for 20 years.

Also, just noted she has to charge 2x $160 per year with no lessons (one for Chinese New Year and one for X'mas). Is that normal practice of other private piano teachers?
