初學單簧管，後轉雙簧容易嗎？

I am a laymen.  My son is 5.5yrs old.  it seems that clarinet is easier to pick up , especially for young kids.  I want to let my son to learn a musical instrument that can be play on it own and yet can produce beautiful sounds and song pieces. I wonder if anyone know if clarinet can do the above.

I read from Internet oboe can play on its own and can have獨奏 I orchestra, but this instrument is relatively hard to learn.  


Are there any kid who learn oboe right at thebeginning ? And how old did they start learning ?

Clarient 易學難精 ; Oboe 難學難精。兩者都要多聽多練習。

Clarient 平的二三千蚊有交易 (Yamaha student model，其他雜嘜唔好制，而一般幾萬蚊的已經好好)；

Oboe 平的都要成萬蚊，但一般似樣的都要幾萬蚊，甚至過十萬!

至於你話獨奏，Oboe 的聲比較有個性，而Clarinet 的聲比較舒服，兩者在樂團中分擔不同的部份，不難相提並論。

Clarinet (單簧管) 係由吹咀加上一塊簧片(reed，俗稱簫片)發聲，吹咀百多元至過千元都有，而reed就十多元一片。小心使用的話，吹咀可用幾十年，而reed就幾個月要換；Oboe係又兩塊簧片札成，再用雙唇向內反夾住簧片。淨係呢個咁基本的發聲動作 (俗稱 "咀箝")，Clarinet 係易好多。

兩樣樂器，我會學Oboe !

Thanks a lot for the reply.  I have not yet decided, so, they are two different instruments and it should take time to adapt if one really wants to switch from clarinet to oboe.
According to Internet inf, it seems relatively harder to find s oboe teacher.  That's another problem.

我睇書話oboe好難吹，好用氣。一般十幾歲才開始學，而且，因為好難學吹得好辛苦，最好係小朋友自己鍾意先好揀，有興趣才肯吃苦。唔知係咪真？
香港小朋友一般幾多歲學oboe?

我個女小一學oboe, 初初吹2堂都吹唔響，要時間，我見到好多人都係小一開始學！現在她三年班學期初，已考了五級，但由於樂器重和手仔未夠闊和吹得唔好，只是pass咋！我兩年前買支oboe 要三萬。我本人覺得大d吹會好d, 小一太細

Many thanks for all the replies !!! I also have one more question.  I saw some videos at Youtube.  It seems that the playing of clarinet or oboe has to be accompanied by piano.  Is it true and why is that the case ?

Yes! Must be accompanied by piano.  If u join the School Music Festival, it is a must!

老師建議小朋友報考8-11月考試(2或3級Oboe)，請問二級同三級分別大唔大?因為小朋友冇經驗，第一次就考三級會唔會好難?
