In that case, I think they won't "really" / "finally" charge $4,800 per month? They just want you to be prepared that this school is more expensive than the Kowloon Tong one, and when you receive the final number later you would feel better and therefore more willing to join the school? my guess only....
on top, we should also consider charges for school bus or 保母車 unless you live in Hung Hom. Apart from school bus or 保母車, there seems not much choice for public transport
I think sc is testing the water also but bear in mind its not an non-profit school, if the demand is there, why wouldnt they charge 48k or close to that?

have u seen the current campus, still many parents q up and hope for a seat in sc, its the curriculum and english level that attract the parents.

Difficult to take this offer except living in Hung Hom. SC should at least inform parents that they will have a new campus during application period last year.
Bad and rush on new campus arrangement, hope it's not consistent to her daily internal activity.
Just my comment: The arrangement seems so "un" St Catherine's style, because so far, my feeling in the last 2 years is that their admin is very clear, polite, and effective. This new campus ordeal sounds very secretive and strange to us current parents.
I am quite surprised to hear that they have no school bus at all.
And FYI, (I don't know the exact K1 fee next year), but I heard from the class teacher than on average the Hung Hom campus is $1000 more per month than Kowloon Tong. (Others parents, please verify). But to me, that is very very high, considering SC is also charging higher fees than other famous kindy.
yes, it's quite high for the school fee.
at least, they hv to adv when apply, not now.
of course, at their view, you can choose not take the seat. bcs this is the extra seat.
