與一個幼稚園校長的一席話

昨日與一個幼稚園校長的朋友閒談間，我向她提及我兒正申請ESF Kennedy School year 1，並問她意見，她說：「國際學校分很多級，HKIS及GSIS係最好，其次係Canadian IS，最差係ESF Kennedy School。」 我問她點知ESF Kennedy School最差，她說：「因為ESF Kennedy School的學生係雜牌軍，因ESF學費有政府準貼，所以好多印巴籍的小朋友讀。」

我唔明點解作為一個校長，都可以說出有種族歧視的說話 ；另外，我相信印巴籍的小朋友經過努力，亦可以操流利英語及有出色表現/成就；再者，我亦唔相信學費較平，質素一定較差。激死我！

我同佢講ESF中學考英國會考今年有4個學生10A，3個係West Island School，而Kennedy School係直升West Island School，她立即無野講。

I feel so sorry for the kindergarten (and the children and parents) that has her as a principal.

I know so many principals and teachers of kinders, primary and secondary have very very little knowledge about IS.  What a shame that they call themselves educators!!!

I have also discussed with a kinder principal previously and I was also surprised that I knew much more updated and accurate information than the principal. Maybe they really focus very much on running their kinders and won't bother about other schools.  So better rely on ourselves rather than seeking advice from those principals!
