ESF Kindergarten - No interview is needed?

I read their website, cannot see any interview to enter ESF Kindergarten, can any forerunner help to answer this question?

I've applied ESF Kinder in TY for my son. I thought I heard they mentioned there will be an interview before a place is offerred. It will be so nice without the interview, as personally I don't think it fair to judge a kid by a 15-minutes talking.
