Two children or above's family- Pls share

Eh-oh

Hi all,

Do you have one of children studying in international school and the other one in local school? Do they can play together and communicate well when they grow up?
Anyone can share? Thanks!:idea:

My elder son is in IS, my younger son is attending a playgroup (english teacher).  I'm thinking to put my younger son into the local stream.  What's your opinion?

I have 2 kids and my objective is make sure their language skill (English and Mandrain) is up to native level+ learn one more lanaguage later (either Spanish or French). For the older one, he learnt English in nusery, K1, English & Japanese in K2 (same school) and then change to English local school with little bit of chinese in K3 now. Then he will continue his study in main stram local school in the coming September until P5 or F2. He should develop fundamental writing and reading skills in Chinese (it is difficult to teach thekids chinese by yourselves). I will monitor the progress and may continue his study in international or local school which depends on the development. The younger one will follow the same track as the development fo the older one is so far so good.

I am having the same situation as yours, my elder son is in IS and my younger one is in local school system, they have no problems in communucating at all. I made this decision because both the personality and ability of my two sons are very different, I believe I am doing the right thing....which is to find the right school for my sons, not necessarily the same school or same system.

Hi Gwan,

Would you PM me which IS and local school are your sons attending? My elder son is in IS, but I intend to put my younger into local kinder, e.g. st. catherine
