Dear
My son is in P3 and just went through his first SA1. I am not sure how you feel, but I think the exams are quite difficult and the teachers are very strict in marking. E.g in English comprehension, my son made 1 grammer mistake and even if he got the answer correct, they took away 1 whole point for a 2 points question.
He was a bit disappointed with his results for he got high 80s and 90s in P2 SA2, but now he only got high 80s for math and mid-70 for english and 80 for CHinese.
Can some SIS parents share their experience on the big jump between P2 and P3, and how to help them with SA2? I tend not to get him a private tuitor for he already has many other extra-curricula activities.
Thanks thankful
My son made a few careless mistakes and did not thoroughly check his work. I hope he has learned his lesson... I think SA1 is a good training ground on the exam style.... especially when this was his first time to fill in a computer marking sheet.
I remembered my first time to use a computer marking sheet was in Secondary 1
