GSIS Y1 Tier 2 Assessment

Anyone received the Tier 2 assessment invitation? Have all Tier 1 interviews been completed? As the interview switched to online (30 minutes per kid), was thinking that it would take the school 2 weeks to finish all Tier 1 interviews. But obviously they are moving much faster than expected.

We went though the Tier 1 interview last Friday (Mar 11), and got the Tier 2 notification Monday (Mar 14) morning. Wondering whether they are arranging Tier 1/Tier 2 interviews on a rolling basis, and how many kids will participate in Tier 2.

Anyone else?

We got waiting list notification too.  Wonder what’s the deadline to accept the first round offer, as it indicates approximately when the school would issue the second round offer (if any) 😂

（I doubt anyone would decline a GSIS offer and we don’t have any priority, so I should probably manage my expectation though）

I think it usually takes around two weeks for the first batch to confirm the offers.
FYI, the registration deadline to renew new school year is 31Mar, so by then the school will know the number of leavers too for call waiting, usually there will be around two leavers per year for the lower grades.

Don’t think so 佢地唔興呢加野, priority is well listed and transparent on internet, and affected by the performance I believe.

  Not really…I know two friends chose HKIS and Harrow over GSIS last year.  So fingers crossed for you.

Update information:
the deadline for payment of registration  fee for next school year is 7/4 and deadline for next year withdrawal is 30/4. So I think the school will start to fill up leavers in late April and May.
