Son of my friend got offers from Charterhouse, King's Canterbury and Caterham for 6th form. It is quite a headache, though they are facing happily.
If vote for IB / Pre U, of course Charterhouse.
In terms of A level results, Caterham and King's Canterbury looks very much in the par (as per the 2013 figures - both 2x% A* and 6x% A*-A).
In terms of reputation, King's Canterbury runs alongside with Chaterhouse. Almost all my British friends had heard about King's Canterbury and Charterhouse but just a few knew Caterham.
Considering school life, King's Canterbury and Charterhouse also look better given the higher % of boarders.
He has been studying in a boy school since P1. Perhaps, studying in a Co-edu school would be a better experience for sake of upcoming U life.
Don't know why there seem more discussions in BK on Charterhouse rather than King's Canterbury. Is Charterhouse more preferred? If so, can we know why?
Your thoughts and comments are welcomed. Many thanks |
