想問, 中學 BAND 1 & BAND 2 學校點計呀????

有人話收50%BAND 1己經係BAND 1中學，　但係視乎你自己點睇啦

同意, 不過大多數都是英中

DBS有年曾經得85%band１生，難道DBS係band 2 學校？

噢!! 90% band 1學生呢個資料係小囡既小學老師既指引, 佢話因為界定英中既規則係中一生85% 英文達標, 所以叫我地用收90% band 1生既學校來厘定學校既 banding

D學校自己的計法是以中一收生根據以下公式計算：
(Band 1人數乘1+ Band 2人數乘2+ Band 3人數乘3)之和除以總人數
四退五進後得出的數字就是自稱的Banding

Does it mean the P6 student who get a seat in a sec. school with his 1st choice ? or other meaning ?

1. All students in HK are divided into 3 groups - the top 33.3% is band 1, the next 33.3% is band 2 and the last 33.3% is band 3. This is used for discretionary places application and Section A central allocation.
2. All students in the same district are divided into 3 groups similarly and this is used for Section B central allocation.
