請問有冇人知喇沙有幾多個位呢?

According to the school office of La Salle, there will be 8X discretionary places for the coming school year.  

However, I have a question : they need to reserve 85% places for their own primary school, how can they offer 8X places for outsiders??

因為直屬額 = (總學額扣除自行分配學額 - 留班學額) x 85%

比如 LS 中一有7 班 >>
自行分配學額︰
= 40 x 7 x 30% = 84
留班學額︰
= 40 x 7 x 5% = 14
比喇小既直屬額︰
= (40 x 7 - 84 - 14) x 85% = 155
