所以，我覺得要好守規矩、好注重儀態的學校，佢未必會讀得開心。

I have in both, my daughter got accepted by both, I know girls from both and both are good school.  I like St Swithun better because of many reasons.

I believe you know both schools well as well.  

Better results need more efforts as we all know. St. Swithun needs a bit mor commitment for sure.

如果我無理解錯，你係一個女讀st swithun, 一個讀 headington ? 如果唔方便公開講，可唔可以pm我，講講點解你會咁樣選校？同埋有咩評語？ Headington 係唔係真係資源放晒在 IB 那裡？

除左成績之外，St swithun 仲有咩特別好的地方？

Both schools are good, so it won't be a bad choice for going to either one, so in fact u are having happy problem!  My friend's daughter is studying in yr 13 now, she gets excellent GCSE result, so studying in H can also obtain good result!

考學校呢樣野，其實真係好難預測結果。

year 10,  同12  去很不同

year 12 是追求學業 為主

year 10 則追求比學業外更多

成績不差太遠的話, boarding 學生同香港人比率 會是其次重要因素

成績好的學校, 多華人, 就不要去

多唔多中國人....係一個考慮問題。不過更加重要係學校點去處理班外國學生的安排。


學業同設施係無問題，其他方面就要自己注意同埋考慮。

可唔可以分享一下好處同唔好處呢？西人多的學校就一定好？感覺很多人特别不喜歡有太多中國學生的學校，有無人可分享一下點解？有無遇到一些唔好的經历呢？

Actually, these two schools are very good schools. The difference in academic performance is very close and I wouldn't say St Swithun is absolutely the better one. Every one of the boarding schools within the top 100 ranking is already very good on academic performance. So the decision should be based on your daughter's preference and personality.  For example, if you daughter is aiming at higher grade in A level, then you may choose the one stress on school works. But definitely choosing one of these two schools wouldn't be as bad as a regret.  Let her study all the facts and then assist her on her decision.

根本就係間間學校都係咁, 吾係點吸引D家長報名


可能我對於排名既嘢冇咩所謂, 反而囡囡讀得開心為首

仲有真係要找個讀緊的家長去傾，最好係熟朋友，唔會隱瞞任何事情。

I thnik nowadays there are many Chinese students in UK schools. Schools with a few Chinese are either exceptionally good or bad. When there is a few Chinese, they will be easily be targets of bully.

When I sent my kids to UK, I just checked academic performance. My elder daughter's school turned out to have many Hong Kong students. But they are friendly, well behaved and well mixed. She can focuse on her studying.

She told me that it is not easy to make friends with local students, but more easy with students coming from similar culture.

My daughter is not in Headington.

我估如果要無咩香港人，真係要去到 d 在鄉下的學校或者、蘇格蘭、愛爾蘭咁。

I have friend's daughters at both schools and both schools are very good.  When I was researching the schools, I prefer Headington a little more for my child even St Swithun's had better result.
