Hi meganlee,
My girls not studying in ISF, but my friend's girl and boy are studying there.  According to my friend, she is very happy for the school, cause she want her kids learn Chinese, as she told me the kids will learn more than 50% in Chinese in Year 1, they are all studying in Chinese enviroment.  Even, those western kids, can speak very good putonghua.
I been ISF open day before, which i saw is all the teachers will speak putonghua with the kids, no matter you are Asian/Western Kids.
My friend told me they have alot of parents can speak good putonghua as well, of course, including those western family who lives in nearby and want their kids learn Chinese.
