Dear all,

At a quick glance, the overall performance of girls seems to be slightly better than that of boys this year when compared to the results of last year.

Normally, there may be a few more cases of “successful knock-door” shortly after the official announcement of the allocation results.

Hope to see some more good news soon.

Looking down the school list it seems like only two of them are CMI schools.  That means there are 132 students admitted to EMI, around 75%?  There are a couple of EMI schools on the list which don't look very appealing though.  But overall, I feel that the SSPA looks pretty good.  What do you think, Principal?

Comparing this year’s results to that of last year, the overall performance is more or less the same whereas girls’ results seems to be slightly better than that of the boys this year.

I believe that the results will be further improved in the years to come.

I can boldly say very few top schools I have observed can achieve such a good result.

You are probably true.  Just checked the results for the 2 popular YMT religious schools close to TSL.  Their EMI school admission rates don't seem to be as high as TSL's.

I've kept records for past few years and have roughly estimated the no. of students admitted to more well-known EMI schools in past few years. The result is encouraging and is improving. Cheers for all Camoesians.

Yes, I have done the same so I can see there has been a continuous improvement over the past few years.

And according to my sixth sense, I believe the results will be further improved in the years to come.

Hi Principal,

I agreed with you too, not ony by senses, but by facts. As you know, one of my girls is in P1, though I'm satisfied with her results, I still find a lot of students ahead of her. There are a lot of bright students in TSL.

As I do not know the academic results of my child’s classmates so well, I have to rely on my sixth sense.

But if you do have real data/facts on hand, you can then make such assumption with more grounds.

Anyhow, let’s see.

Hi, Principal,
You are quite right, actually. I have been extremely busy. As you can see I am very concerned about the "business' of TSL. I really hope the babies can go to the same school as their sister (but money would be a problem). The allocation results are proof that we have made the right decision by enrolling our kids at TSL.

It’s a dilemma.
We all hope that the allocation results can be improved year by year.
However, improving allocation results may attract more applicants in the next few years and the competition may become keener.

Nevertheless, according to my sixth sense, it’s very likely that your two younger kids can also get in.
And my sixth sense is always accurate!!

Are you aware that there was another new update about the S1 allocation results on the school website today?

Some more TSL’s graduates have been admitted to the following secondary schools.     

DGS : 1 more to make the total of 2
Heep Yunn : 1
PLK Ngan Po Ling : 4 more to make the total of 16
St. Paul’s College : 2 more to make the total of 3
St. Stephen Girls College : 1
Evangel College : 1 more to make the total of 4
Fukien Secondary School : 3 more to make the total of 5
St. Margaret’s Co-Ed. : 3 more to make the total of 5
Tsung Tsin Christian Academy : 1 more to make the total of 6

Few days ago, I said the allocation results this year are more or less the same as that of last year.
But with the latest update just announced today, I have to change my comment to “this year’s results are the best ever”.  

Normally, there will be some good news whenever there is a new update.

We look forward to seeing another new update soon.

I think the results are the best ever for TSL. So far I haven't seen any other schools' results comparable to TSL's. Surely the no. of applicants will skyrocket next year.
