The results have been released already. Seems that this year's results are better than last year's.

How are you recently??   You have not shown up on BK for quite long time!!  

Back to the S1 allocation results, the school is so efficient that such information can be released to  the public on the same day when EDB announced such results to the school.
That's another good example of the wise use of the school website.

At a quick glance, the overall results  are slightly better than that of last year, especially the boys are doing better in this year.
Perhaps there could be some other cases of successful "knock-door" in the coming weeks.
Hope this trend can go on in the years to come.

Hi Principal,
You are really observant! I have been silent for quite a while because of my newborn babies. But I stilll keep myself posted by reading the postings of TSL parents. I was really impressed when reading the postings about the 6-year primary school life in TSL as they reassure me that I haven't made a wrong choice for my daughter.  Yes, really hope that both the teachers and students will continue to make progress and create successes.

Yes, "六年有感" is indeed a great thread.
I  was very impressed, too.

If you are not too busy, try to drop a few lines here whenever you have a break as we missed your input/comments for quite a while.

真係好有效率, 今早8點幾家長在hall等小朋友時已見到個派位表, 大家都想自己小朋友是表上名校list上其中一個幸運兒, 好緊張!

With regard to the S1 allocation results, different people may use different definitions to gauge whether which year’s results are better than the other one?
But I will use the number of graduates admitted to top schools as a benchmark for the following rough analysis.

1)        This year’s results are slightly better than that of the last 4 years.

2)        Girls  have been doing better gradually every year since the academic year of 2004/2005.

3)        Boys’ results were good in 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 but dropped somewhat
last year (2005/2007).  However, the boys are catching up a lot this year and the number of admission to the top schools is back to the level of 2-3 years ago.

Please do not ask me to define which are the top schools in HK and substantiate further.
If you do have such information on hand, I guess you may come to similar conclusion as mine.

Twins??   Then, you need to allocate
at least HK$8 million for that.  

I do not know your personal preference on gender.
If they are twin girls, you will be a bit more relaxed.
But if they are twin boys, you will be .................................................
I am sure Bluestar can write a long essay to share with you how to bring up boys properly!!!  
  
As for the estimated results in the coming years, assuming pupils of senior graduates are doing their best for those of the junior grades in the public assessment and also the intake of more quality new pupils in the years to come, I think we can be a bit positive on this.
We all need to devote our utmost efforts to make it happen.

舊年有位同學派中中, 開學時才叩入了英中.
這個表未計最後叩門成功的, 有的同學在臨開學9月才叩門成功! 到時才可看到真正結果!

如放榜後仲有咁多人要叩門未好辛苦，我以為佢好似宣道︴九龍塘小學︴禮賢︴聖方濟有9成幾入英中唔需担心。----- 是嗎，以上學校真有這麽多人入英中嗎？請update下資料。今年已用編班試成績，冇直系中学的'名校'已不像以往高% ，'普通'学校入英中%高佐 ，我地新校仍在努力中，try to改變世人眼光 。叩門係辛苦，英中都有好多種，但如果不是所謂最top的英中又不算太苦吧。請不要單用'英中'兩字去衡量%，我們只是一間普通學校right？！虛名不適合我們 。而且名校亦未必適合每一小朋友，靠僥倖派入亦未必是好事！我們只會選合適的。


TSL學校被好多人看不起，又被教署政策所牽。但我們用短短數年時間, 開始被 '真正教育界' 所留意及認同。我們 不被'派位'校網所侷限，'誇區'自行階段 爭取以證明自己的成績。

請不要打擾我們！我們的小朋友自會一步一步向前努力。向自己、父母、學校交待就行。我們只會盡力而為，因材施教不强為！

本人並不認同閣下的講法, 因TSL的總學生人數內佔有不少foreign students他們並不是以中文為first language, 所以要將TSL和閣下所述之學校比較是不公平的。況且揀得TSL的家長自然有其原因, 又何用閣下擔心?

I think we all know that TSL is a new school with a short history of just a few years.
Actually, we started from scratch.
What concerns us more is that we can see the standard of our children is improving every year and they are enjoying the school life very much.

We are comparing such results of TSL itself  for the past few year and glad to see continuous improvement.

全港好的學校不只一間, 每個人心中的把尺不同. 在我心中這是一間理想的學校, 并不代表你需要認同!
