Gifted child最合適讀邊間/邊類幼稚園?

男孩子,英文及數學超好,記性好好,老師說少少可能是gifted.社交好差.想問最合適讀邊間/邊類幼稚園?

2歲已開始讀英文短句，但好怕中文，如果找間中文好強會嚇怕他？求教。現在讀國際幼稚園。

只是懷疑，因為英文及數學能力好強，記憶力超好，很喜歡閱讀，小小人仔可讀1小時。本來想轉谷些的學校。但聽了老師說他與別不同，打亂了我轉校的心。怕愈搞愈壞。

他已懂300多個英文生字。我本來以為佢係好學型，但如果真係gifted 就慘。好惡教。當然現在不知道，但假設是，讀sc課d會否害左佢。真他中文超唔得。

how old is yours?  mine 3 in Victoria.  she is super hapoy in school.  .... completely trikingual now but has no friends.  ..... her teachers never mentioned to me she might be gifted but my friends keep asking me if she is......

mine has long concentratiob span on things she likes but super bad temper.....
...

wont comply to teachers at all if she sees no reason for the request.....

challenges authority for the fun of it .....


she doesnt play with kids!!!!!!!  



help me too to those who has similar experience.


i am sure she hates traditional school as they believe complete obedience and submission equals.discipline.


my.daughter is very disciplined at home but fails all traditional schools interviews..... i was quite disappointed, frankly.....

he is 3 now. very discipline in school, follow all rules but no friends. Teacher said he always feeling sad in school sometimes cry with no reason. I know it is too early to test is it gifted or not.

But he likes to play with kids in playground, just doesnt like play n sing n talk in the classroom.......Is it not good to think the teacher is not patient enough, always yell with the kids n make him has bad experiences?

we went for st cat interview too but she didnt do anything the teacher asks but tries to play with the teacher in her own way

ms clark the interviewer was v nice but she can't let my dauggter pass as she didnt do any of her requests.



we went for Victoria eventually.   teachers there spent a lot of time to familiarise themselves with her temperament.   which i was super appreciative.  she has been a nuissance in class for two months creating all sorts of problems but the teachers and even the amahs took it upon themselves to help her settle in.   despite receiving phibe calls from the teachers all the time, never once was it a complaint but more of updating me of her progress in school........


it is all worth the expensive schoolfees

tge nurses helped  tge headmistress came to see my daughtwr in class too to assign more staff to help

My boy was from Victoria too. His K2 teacher once talked to me that it would be better to send him to int'l stream. Therefore we went to int'l school to study year 1 instead of k3.
Actually there are classmates from St Cat & Victoria and they don't have any problem to deal with the IB curriculum.

My dream school has always been ST Paul's Coed because they have IBDP but looks like it is impossible for me now.

Your dream school is NOT equal to the school suits your girl.

Very true indeed and I kinda regret ruling out Internatioanl schools in the beginning.



am starting to look at IS websites now but they are quite expensive....

even CKY is very hard tp get in

Much better than I originally thought but I doubt its primary school.   Also Victoria kinder kids are not guaranteed into VSA

要讀d學校老師極有愛心及包容度高的,學校多活動鼓勵小朋友互動.
唔洗咁學術,因為咁叻既小朋友你唔教佢都好易學到.
但係人際關係就要在學校環境中培養,否則性格变得內向.

我同意要找一間包容性大一點的學校, 老師願意和家長緊密聯絡, 互相合作.
但同時最好也不要是學術上太淺的學校.
他們學野快, 如果課程太淺, 上堂時就會無心機, 悶起來更可能會搗蛋.
交際方面, 帶孩子每天到公園玩, 多接觸不同小朋友. 最好找到一班同年朋友仔, 在假日一起遊玩. 我和兒子也在這方面努力中, 希望他能夠合群一點.

好多父母focus教英文，好容易中文出現問題。現在應加強中文至為上策！
