Seeking for help

很抱歉，急需幫忙。
我們正要作出決擇時發現問题，未知有沒有朋友有類似個案。
小兒本決定取Eastbourne College，放棄Blundell's, 但竟發現Eastbourne的宿舍不在校園內，有點奇怪，問 agent, 説應不會，但自己上網goggle過，確實如此。與此同時，Blundell's 最後限期是今年黄昏七時。請問大家，有没有如此經驗，中學生的宿舍非在校園內？多謝大家。

香港時間今晚7:00pm？阿大間學校高年級學生就係住校外宿舍(Y12及Y13)。

宿舍在學校隔離街? 參觀過幾間學校， 一半宿舍在校園內， 一半在校園週邊的範圍(隔1,2條街)

對呀，多謝你們，今晚HK 時間七時前一定要覆Blundell's.
完全沒有心理準備要離開校園往宿舍，因怕仔心散，Year 10, 仍不太大。Eastbourne等得，三星期後 deadline, 但Blundell's 吾等得。謝謝！

我的看法係如果喜歡呢間學校，無須將宿舍看成主要因素，相信學校會管理好的。

My daughter and son's boarding houses are a bit far from main school campus. I think it is very common for schools in small towns in UK.

I would ask the school to clarify the situation. Don't let them or anyone to rush you. You still have 3 other options, right? Many fee paying schools are desperate for foreign students. It's more important that you know exactly what you are getting. If this school did not allow you more time, I would pass it over. By the way, you need to tell us more about your kid and some parents may give more relevant opinion.

個人覺得，如果在五分鐘左右既路程內是可接受的，你可直接問學校，如何處理學生往返宿舍？Y10都唔太細個，唔好太擔心！

好多boarding hse都唔係校園內但通常在学校附近，我仔宿舍在学校对面，每日返学規定要同roomates一斉行返学校

多謝各位的回覆，最後取了Blundell's，害怕最後沒學校或來不及做簽証。希望孩子用心讀，再轉好一點的學校讀A-level

My son is a very sporty boy. He plays many ball games. He does pretty well academically. But we started applying schools too late so difficult to go to a better school. Quite frustrated. Hope he can do better in GCSE and change school later on. Thank you.
