Homework club? Playing club?

請問各位家長：

     你的小朋友有沒有參加homework club?
     你知道他們在那裏做什麽嗎？

     今日是賣物會，我提早在4點50分到學校接我兒子，上到教室， 只聽到一片喧嘩， 看到兩個中學的輔導姐姐正互相取笑，抱在一起，看到我站在外面，也未見任何收斂； 其他幾個小朋友（包括我兒子）在互相追逐；也有其他小朋友在大聲玩樂。在等兒子出來的時候，我實在看不過眼，就問那兩位輔導姐姐：“點解這麽亂？”其中一個回答我：“他們有些已做完功課。”
出來后我問兒子，他說只完成了一頁中文，其實他今天有四頁中文。怪不得他最近一個月幾乎每天都不能完成作業。

     我即時打電話給老師決定退出下一期。

    學校的管理有問題：
     1。做功課有快有慢不奇怪。已經完成的可以到另外的教室玩。
    2 。輔導的姐姐不但不管他們，反而比小朋友玩得更熱烈。看來學校選人和監管都有問題。

     不吐不快，希望其他繼續留在homework club 的家長多些囘校監督。

Dear Kwanm,

今日Christmas Sales 果然好多嘢買，我仲起二手校服中買咗件PE衫$10-，好抵買。
至於Homework club，我囡囡以前小三都有去過，可能以前無咁多人，班細路分開一堆堆，真係起到做功課，囡囡起Homework club全部做完，唔使返屋企嚟做。不過亦有啲細路唔多聽話走來走去，好似開party，真過份 唔好咁勞氣希望你同老師投訴完會好啲啦！
不過我覺得你亦犯了家長指引，現在學校唔比家長入去校園，為了校園嘅安全，除非係舉辨活動；而我哋接放學都係得行人路嘅少少位，否則借絕入去。而你今日借Christmas Sale上咗班房，而且指責那兩位輔導姐姐，確有點衝動。若那兩位輔導姐姐去投訴有家長擅自走去班房，我相信學校一定會追究，咁學校又可能再收緊 唔該家長們自律吓啦 我哋巳經好慘啦

對於學校下課后不能讓工人姐姐留下來陪小朋友一同做功課，我有不同的看法：有時小朋友要到學校附近參加課外活動，但時間又未到，難道要他們先回家（來回兩個小時），又再回來參加？我也知道有些工人有不當的行爲，但不表示全部如此，如果發現他們不當，應該向雇主反映，現在完全謝絕所有人等入校，有點像“斬腳趾，避沙蟲"。
另外，家長也要對學校的教學活動起監督的作用。雖然我十分不贊成干涉老師的教學，但面對一些明顯的漏洞，難道也要啞忍？

I seldom go to the school.  Only knew from notice it's not allowed to wait at shool area anymore.  

How they find out the maids have the trading activities??

From my opinion, they should post annoncement to set out some rules for those who are waiting in school area,so if anybody offends the
rules, school have the right to give warnings or  invite them to leave
the place if still.  I believe this is a more fair way.   I agreed to Kwanm
it's not user friendly,as the students can finish their homework in
school before to a next activity in this middle time.  Also the kid would be very tired if they need to run from one to another.   

I think this situation would also be happened to other schools, how
abt the policies from others??

Abt the homework club,  it looks not good  as if like that. Need to
report to school to pay attention & supervise.

Anybody knows when the school report will issue ??

The report card will be issued at Jan 13, 2008 (Parent's Day).

I had seen the maid sold the clothes at school. And they try the clothes at the washroom. Sometimes they will post the things on the table to sell.

And my friend had also seen the maid bring the recorder to singing at Saturday.  It's look like the Central at Sunday.  My friend asked Ms Lee (Primary Head-teacher) to handle the case. Ms Lee mark down their name and ask them left the school to wait the kids. I don't believe it.I t's happened in our school.

I had asked many parents why our school to change the policy After the conversation, many maids and the parents had broken the rule in the school. So our school will be very tight to run the parent's guideline.

In future, I hope the maids and the parents will be self-control.

我今日已向學校反映，主任說正在跟進。

我很同意SA+GA的意見。我兒子上一年也沒有加入Homework Club，只因這個學期學校改變了規則，接送人不能進校。他有時5點鐘有其它活動，以前是工人姐姐陪他在學校做功課，現在只能寄希望學校加強監管。

Would anyone please give an update about the situation of the homework club now?  Is it more better now?  Also,  can we pick up our kids anytime before 5:30pm (say if they have to attend some other after school activities, can we pick them up like around 4:30pm?)?
