In HK, you might seek professional assessment in at least the following channels:
1. If your girl is studying in local primary school, you could seek help from the relevant school personnel,
i.e. a. The School Guidance Personnel/School Guidance Teacher/ School Guidance Officer
b. Most local school nowdays have teachers designated for co-ordination of resources to cater for special educational needs,
c. You might also talk to the Class teacher;
This might lead to the school's initiation, to see if child could be arranged for service by an Educational Psychologist;
2. Or if you could talk to your family doctor, and ask for referral to the Child Assessment Centre of the Dept of Health,
this might lead to arrangement of assessment of services by Clinical Psychologists
3. You might also voice your concern to the doctors when you use the Student Health service;
4. Of course, there are also private assessment service, but you might have to look for those with qualified psychologists
