應該十二月先有school tour (a.k.a interview), 我自己就信都未收到。係唔係佢已經收到信啦？(因為聽講叫得你去school tour，九乘都收)。係邊間ESF Kindie?

You have mixed up the school tour and the play visit {:1_1:}

The school tour is separate from the application process, you can register for a school tour without applying for admission, and vice versa. Some people may want to see the school before they decide to apply, and if they don't like what they see they can save the application fee ($300)

Maybe I used the wrong term, because that's what a Neighbour told me. Her son is in ESF K1 right now and last December she and her son were invited to go to the school for a tour and play time. The teachers would assess the children on that day to see if they fit ESF. There's no one-on-one interviews.

Last year I done the Play visit in mid Dec, next day the school called for the result.

Ouch, how much was the deposit? (because most other Int'l schools doesn't start assessing until January).

And have you heard of ppl who applied but didn't get invited to the play visit? (~~anxious mom) thanks!

Yes, some applicants may not have the chance to do the play visit.

Hm, my son's mother tongue is English, but he does have the occasional Cantonese exposure with his grandparents (I don't wanna lie on the application). I hope we'd get the invite...

是真的，原來有部分申請人是不用interview （可能父母不是真正香港人），直接收了。但是我打去學校問，他們說不會，為什麼學校不承認呢？
