Where can we place a child if there is no offer from ESF kinder to ESF P1?  Thanks in advance for your feedback.

My friend faced the same situation.  Try other ISs.  Some local primary schools may also consider.  No hope for top tier local ones.

You could keep your child on the ESF waitlist and apply to a newer IS like Island Christian Academy. I know a friend who did that last year and they are so happy with ICA that they have decided to keep their child at ICA. Actually even ICA has a waitlist but they are more likely to have openings than the more established and popular IS. But ICA is located in Sheung Wan on HK island which may or may not work for you.

Alternatively there are some ppl who put their child in "waiting mode" at Woodland (which has a P1/P2 class at Woodland Harbourside) while hoping for an ESF place to come up but that depends on what ESF primary you are in the catchment for - some have long waitlists and may take more than 1-2 yrs to come up.
