關於ESF Kindergarten報名

Dear mamis, may I know whether only can submit one application for one of ESF kindergarten due to our living district? Or I can choose any one of kindergarten in HK?Thanks a lot in advance.

ESF kindergartens do not have zoning restrictions so theoretically you can apply to all 4 of their kindergartens.

However each school might give preference to those children living nearby so making 4 applications is not necessarily multiplying one's chances by 4. One can of course rent (or buy?) 4 properties each located near to one school and use the appropriate address for each separate application, but that is going a bit over the top.

As can be seen, each kindergarten has a separate link for applications so it is possible to apply to all 4 of them There is no statement made anywhere on the website saying one can only apply to one school, but whether the schools will crosscheck with each other and frown on people making multiple applications is another matter.

esf got a very powerful database for primary and secondary school including PIS. don't know if it applicable to their kg or not.

We were thinking of moving during the application period. So I called them to see if I can apply to 2 kindergartens at the same time and decide later. They said no, and confirmed that they shared the database.
