We parents here are from different walks of life. For example, for a surgeon, they may need to spend up to hours in doing a surgery. This is a tough work for many others. But if the man doing it enjoy it, he can accept long hours and don't find it a torture. I think for IB homework, if it is research-based plus writing or presentation work, it must take a lot and a lot of time. I think ultimately, whether it is hard work depends on whether they are required to come up with very high standard product. If the students manage to come up with product with certain degree of achievement, they may not mind long hours...am I too simplistic in my thinking? |
