Not too sure if my reply comes too late.
My kid spent 1.5 years in Starters and 1.5 years in ESF kindy (let alone another 0.5 year in Woodlands long before). Both schools were good in my eyes. Starters was a small school with experienced, caring teachers. There weren't much parent-teacher activities, except for the christmas carol. It was understandable given the size of the campus. Personally i felt so good about this school as i could feel the warmth the teachers and EA gave out every day. The reasonsI pulled my kid out from starters to ESF kindy were, mostly on the interview priority, and a bigger campus in ESF. The teachers in ESF kindy were a lot younger, this could be a + or -. A variety of facitities were available for the kids to enjoy every day. Most importantly, my kid was happy in both schools. A handful of starters school's classmates got admitted to the same ESF primary as my kid did, and so they are now back together again. |
