請問比外國家庭優先有乜問題呢？本地家庭可以入讀本地學校，只不過有部份家長唔認同本地教育，先想小朋友入國際學校。甘如果呢班外國小朋友冇優先入讀，請問呢班唔識中文嘅小朋友去邊度讀呢？

其實呢個係問題嚟，唔係覺得有問題噃。個人想諗下如果女女讀完國際幼稚園入唔返國際學校嘅銜接問題咋

我們要知道有香港身份證的人是包括外國人，印度人，很多人也不是華人但係係香港人，也在香港居住及生活。

我們擔心自己的小孩得不到良好教育時，也要顧及外國人在港工作時的小孩讀書問題。

教育政策是公共政策的一部份，自然要顧及本身香港居民的需要及逗留在香港工作的非華人需要。政府
一方面減esf 資助，一方面叫esf增加收生人數。這是否合理？

其實呢d 係港英政府遺下的問題。當年資助ESF 是由於給英軍的子女讀書。諗深一層，政府是否仍然值得用納稅人的$$ 來資助他們？我寧願用$$ 來實行十五年免費教育

Yes, totally agree with your comments on IS.   The quality of many IS is getting worse and worse.
They are loosing their competitive advantage as many DSS / Private schools are now EMI schools
and have VERY good curiculum.    You will be shocked to see how some IS teach kids, no discipline,
low level of chinese/putonghua, no homework, no assessment/test, no class teaching structure,
especially EXF schools.  they always say this is the IB program but I think it is just excuse for lazy
teachers.   My friends kids go to one of the PIS of EXF and was very disappointed.   He now think of
getting out of the IS system..   I wouldn't consider applying to IS for my kids.   I will apply to
DSS /Private schools for their future.

You seem to be judging IS by LS standards and I think you will surely be disappointed.  I don't think lack of discipline or poor Chinese is good either.  But no homework, assessments/test and a loose class structure can just be the delivery of education from a different philosophical point of view?

不要忘記外藉人士在香港工作也是要交税的！esf 的設立原意就是為這班外藉納稅人的子女提供affordable education, 所以收生政策是這班小孩優先。

You can find more and more "tiger mum style" parents nowadays in ESF, as probably there are more HK parents there.  A friend whose daughter moved from Victoria K2 to ESF Year 1 last year feels quite stressful as she knows kids in the same class go to tuition classes for Chinese and Math.

家長在生日會或學校活動見面時, 會打聽各同學補習的情況, 和子女在學校的表現.  家長緊張學生, 其實也不是壞事.  
老師說晚上七時要讓小孩睡覺, 唔係上課會沒精神, 我知有學生上課時睡著了被老師罰. 我覺得睡多點比補習還有用
