呀囝在英國讀sixth form,昨天討論起考車牌問題,請問大家囝囝囡囡有無考車牌,是否在英國考?

No. HK resident living HK permanently need to take HK driving test to get a full HK license and drive in HK.

阿仔今年18歲，同佢傾好，響香港考車牌，因為香港筆試易啲，路面我想佢響香港操好手車，響英國就易揸啲。同埋佢響英國時候專心讀書，返香港先學同考車好似好啲。
香港考筆試都要滿18歲㗎。

阿囝上年九月係英國考車牌，佢筆試同路試都一take過pass. 英國driving licence 唔需要renew，用到70歲為止。佢12月返香港運輸署免考試攞十年証。佢話英國考車牌都係用咗唔使£900。

p.s. 佢考牌我都唔知

小兒前年英國考，回港後去左運輸處可以Convert 簽發了香港車牌．　
英國考的好處：排期快
英國考的難處：好難考（路試要成本個鐘，要上公路，要考planning)，　貴
因此，我還是建議香港考

請問 :
回港取香港駕駛執照
給1號 ?
還是
給1號 和 2號 ?

Very good. I main point was that HK residents have to process a full HK license to drive in HK (cannot use UK license as an alternative). And  the eligibility has been amended on cause 2.1 from previous version. 佢只係對有興趣係嘢上心。
佢之前話想學車，我就同佢講不如考好個試，讀完書返香港考。結果佢自己搞掂先至話比我哋知

我覺得冇問題，只要佢對某方面有興趣，就可以向呢方面下苦功及發展！

想問聲 :

英國考到駕駛執照，回港後，可交900元，運輸署會給10年牌。

咁在香港考到駕駛執照，回到英國後，好似不能自動續牌。

是否如此 ?
