英文閱讀理解

我的兒子讀小一在做英文閱讀理解時, 都無真正理解文章就去做, 全部題目都做錯, 問他為何他說完全不知道文章講什麼, 請問其他家長或教小一的老師有沒有發現這問題, 可以如何幫助呢?

My daughter has the same problem, she is at P1 too, don't know how to do. She had her private tutor already. still can't manager comperhension during exam..

I heard from her these two day, she don't understand the comperhension on the exam this time again.

My daughter (in P.1) also came across the similar problems. Although I mentioned this issue in Parent Day before, I could not see any real changes in the English teaching method.

I think the school could not help much in this area.
The best way to do is to have the children to read more English books.  During this summer, let them read a book on each day.  You need to require them to read loudly.  Also, the story must be simple and they could understand most of the words.  The public librurary near the school contains lots of books which are suitable for their level.

The other way is to let them write more. I found the following book is quite useful.  Hope this can help.
