RCHK Comments please

Can any parents from RCHK provide some comments about the school please?
Are there lots of extras on top of the standard school fees, especially at higher grades?

What are the children like?  I heard from an ex-parent that there are a lot of Cantonese speaking around the school.  Is that true?

How hard is the Chinese curriculum?

How are the teachers?  Are they passionate?

1) not much extra fee except for the year camp/trip from year 4
2) some students speak Cantonese in the playground but I guess most of them are secondary students transferred from local schools. Students like my boy ( got into the school from Y1) would rather like to speak in English.
3) Chinese curriculum is not tough in primary school, however friends in secondary division comment that it's really    difficult.
4) the ratio between Hongkonger and foreigner is roughly 4:1 now.
5) there are good and not so good teachers (not so suitable). During the lower form, you could be a parent helper and you could learn more about the learning environment.
