About the English -Pal

Hi,

Do you know how the "score" (there are 3 scoring systems: scores, bonus points and online submission), showing top 50, is counted in the English pal system? Is it the total score got from each section: reading result, reading bonus result and grammer result?

And is the top 50 only showing P1 or all those participants (so not only P1) ?

Only reading & reading bonus were count in the total score, grammar will not count.

I think the top 50 is only for P.1, but I found that even my daughter's score is more than the top 50's, her name wasn't shown there.

Thanks for the advise. Yes.  the same for my daughter whose score is also higher than some of those top 50s but she is not on the list.

我本人覺得很奇怪, Bonus article 是給小朋友每天多一篇的閱讀機會, 強化學習基礎及適量地加入一兩個新詞語 (這是我的理解)。
現看到排名表, 484分, 如以每天平均做5 題計, 即難度為 11星左右      。  本人曾在不同的程度看過及協助小女完成, 發現6星或以下, 才是一年級可以理解及目標學習的程度。  以11星程度, 即使家長指引, 怕且以中文解釋, 小朋友都唔明。 何況英文?    難以相信排第一位的同學, 理解能力如此高, 佩服, 佩服。小女的英文, 實在未夠班, 唔知點先追得上 lor。
如只是想年尾取 Top 10 獎狀, fine,  大拋離。

哈哈.. 再睇睇今日成績..1048!!! ..佢個女再留在St.Mary 簡直係浪費左, 應該送佢出國外嘅大學進修,做下研究咁就啱哂佢啦 ...

但如果係請槍就真係厚顏無恥呀 ...

絕對同意, 都唔知 小朋友點可以做到咁高分, 見個女已好勤力日日做, 不理佢做得對與錯, 但榜上可日日都同一人仲要差一日分數相差好多, 真百思不得其解.
所以只有開解女女, 不要緊啦, 媽媽知你好勤力和盡力, 我們只享受學習的過程, 已足夠了.
