各位媽咪好！
我小的兒子今年一年級，跟annie1128一樣，不過在這topic內未有同班同學。

在此跟大家打過招呼，大家交流新消息。

今天小兒還要帶回英文及幾本自購的書回校，書包十分重。故只帶了些少水，叫他喝完了在學校水机加水。

其實這個英文網也不錯。我並不是每日一篇，有時隔二、三天做一次(可以補做)。因內容比較淺，很快便完成。對初小学生是不錯的選擇。但大的兒子今年拒絕參加，他答應看英文書補數，我便由得他。

我昨天試食了兒子的飯盒。飯的quality很好，很多菜，少肉，汁另多分開，味道不錯。昨天是炸魚柳、小唐菜、栗米汁，很有住家風味。大兒子說他們的白飯根家裹的差不多，夠熱又夠軟。

今年的供應商好得多。還有，所有食物都是在飯堂內煮的。

另，大部份自費的課外活動是外判的，不用太擔心滿額--除非他們找不到老師。

I think you cannot 一個月搭食, 另一個月又唔搭.  According to my past experience, you could join in after school started.  Once you decided the join in date, the teacher would help to calculate the total amount for you from the join in date till the end of the term.  Pui Ching has so many student, I am not sure if they have enough manpower to calculate in per month basis.  You could ask the teacher on Sept 23 during parent meeting and update us.

An alternative is to buy the lunch in morning.  You can pay at the canteen in morning for ordering the lunch (they have 4-5 choices).  During lunch time, the student would collect it by themself in canteen.  They could have more choices but require to go up and down and line up for the lunch box in canteen.  Or, you could try the lunch by youself in canteen and taste it before you make the decision.

Both of them are on 4th floor.  I went up & down 3 times this Tuesday.  A good exercise for me.

小一可以報的免費課多話動不多。通常都要抽。若今次抽中，下年便不可再報，留機會給其他小朋友。通常英文班、棋藝都是最多人報。所以今次抽不中，下年抽中機會很大ｏ

昨天訂了２份英文報紙•ＡＢlevel 各一。希望他們真的会看。

We have several PTH teachers living nearby and we could have private class at their apartment.  You could search some private tutor near your home.

Students will copy the items from the blackbroad to their hand book.  All should be the same.  During this two weeks, the 愛心小老師 will check everyone's handbook during lunch time to ensure copy correctly.

我現在開始教他收拾書包、tick手冊。叫他們將做完的功課和通告手冊放在枱上等我檢查。開始時會很亂，慢慢習慣了便不太辛苦。小朋友及大人都要適應小一的生活。大家都是這樣的渡過，不要太擔心。

Level A is for P1 & P2 while level B is for P3 & P4. 故你只需訂一份Ａ就可以。

手冊要用一年，通常一二年級由其是'仔'的手冊都似'梅菜'，大家都是差不多，不用太介意。

昨天的英文worksheet好像深了点，不知是想試他們英文程度，或是較往年深了。

朗誦節的題材，請問是否由學校提供？我兒子們選了普通話。

小一學期初是適應期，不要太緊張，你兒子可能沒有告訴你全班還有很多人沒有做。其實手冊內好像有說明忘記交功課会怎樣的，相信下星期六家長会亦会詳細說明。以我所知是老師用紅筆寫在手冊上，超過幾次便会記錄在手冊某頁上，要家長簽名。每一個月重新計算。學校都是希望培養小朋友責任感，若非必要，不需幫他在家中取回--我記得培正好像不容許上課時家人送東西/功課給學生, 這點請其他家長補充。

上星期五有貢多樣野做, 所以今天星期一的書包特別重 有8kgs 因為有D明明今日無堂都要帶回校交

'星期一交所有功課'-- 我兒子老師非常有經驗，故此加多了這一句。其實所有手冊上的功課，都須于第二天帶回去。

-英文Study guildline及story book, 中文yellow筆畫歌等每天都要載返學。我將培正詩歌及顏色筆放在學校。

-ICAN全人教育通告-我沒有理会這通告。

-榮譽榜(存於家中)- 對。用來存放日後所有獎狀。

大兒子下星期開始默書了，一年班可能遲些才開始。大家努力啊！

I am interested in the P6's arrangements.  I was told that only the first 100 P6 students can straight in PC Secondary school. The 101st -150th student have to draw lots for the 30 seats.  And there is a written test as well for some of the student (not very sure in this part.) So total will have at least 130 students promote directly from primary to secondary school.

Would you please udpate me more information about this.  My eldest child is in P3 this year.

Dear 倬睿媽咪,
You are correct.  But what I am worrying is it is not the top 50% is guaranteed.   It seems that the top 35-50% need to attend a lucky draw and writing test.  So you have to keep to top 30% to make sure you could get the seat.

上星期大兒子將畫筆放了在學校，昨天早上又太大雨，主任在咪上叫學生留在課室，令哥哥不能在早上將畫筆交回給弟弟，最後累弟弟給老師用紅筆寫在手冊上。雖然弟弟沒有責怪我們，哥哥和我都有些不好意思。

你們的資料很有用。昨天我在明報看見培中今年取消精英班的消息，與其他傳統學校比較，培正好像走得很快，敢於改變，幾年後又不知會是怎樣。

Don't be so upset.  My son is in the same class  with one of your son. You are the second Mom with Twin boys  I met in PC.  Let me know if any information I could provide.

You could give him a box/roll of tissue. They have a small tray for eating lunch but you could also give him a Table cloth and leave it in school.  
FYI, there is a hook in each table. You could leave the 雜物 in school by putting it in a bag and hang it on the table.  So no need for them to bring so many things back home everyday.
