How to choose the correct training?

1. try give him more sports training to use up his unlimited energy

2. recruiting teacher for home training.

3. let him listen more songs and encourage him to sing more.

1. Cannot sit still, just do/play what he like. Besides pst (since I tried already, but no improve), which kind of training to improve to sit still?

-> How many PST have you tried before?  Maybe a different PST would have different result.

3. Non-stop mouth!! My son has speech delay for around 6-9 months, not always have sentences, but he keeps singing with not clear lyrics, BB speech & making strange sound for whole day non-stop.

-> My son also made strange sound before, though not non-stop, then I realized he was mimicking the sound of the MTR door closing.  He always stopped to watch the door closing, and it took me at least a month before I realized what the sound was.  It was self stimming for my son.  It really obstruct his learning, because he would just suddenly make the sound during his session and ignore everything else.  Luckily, he's stoppable.

Hey, at least he would stop when you said "no".  He could have ignored you.  I would take this as a good sign.

When my son's in class, the therapist would tell him to be quiet.  If he keeps doing it, the therapist would say something like "Oooh, you're not being quiet."  The idea is that my son doesn't like it when the therapist said he's not being good.  He would try to behave so the therapist would compliment on his good behaviour.  Then when my son stops, the therapist would compliment him by saying "Wow, you're so quiet."

During class the pace is rather fast, so there is not much time for my son to make funny sounds.  But being able to stop is a good thing.  My son can stop when he's asked to, but he hasn't stopped making the sound completely.

To me, it's about self control.  My son loves numbers.  He knows all the numbers to every garbage bin in our neighbourhood.  He used to say every number in the lift when it changes.  Then I asked him to look at the numbers without saying it.  He's okay with that.  I can't stop him from counting in his heart, but don't do something that normal people don't do.

我間中心係一邊做感統一邊聽, 做之前先會做問卷, 睇下有無需要同埋想針對咩問題黎做.

當然我唔知係咪只係因為佢做呢兩樣野而改善左, 因為佢同時都做 pst & st, 飲食控制, 做運動, 同佢玩親子遊戲
