Yes, it is difficult for others to give advice before knowing what you are pursuing. My boy is attending K1 in Anfield Whampoa now, and since Nursery. The school's English environment is good and most importantly genuine, even the helpers speak English (to the students). Mandarin is only 15 mins per day, hence do not place high expectations on the Mandarin progress. My boy can spell out the names of basic items In Mandarin, such as animals, fruits, colours etc, but he cannot understand or communicate in Mandarin when it comes to speech, given that we do not have Mandarin exposure at home at all. The school puts in lots of efforts in organising field trips and concerts which were most elaborated ones I have seen so far for kinder level. Their administration works are however pretty messy, but this is a minor issue in my personal opinion. |
