Hi 各位:
請問加拿大出生的6年班華人學生, 如果打算回流香港, 在溫哥華是讀高水平私立學校的, 請問申請本港國際學校插班, 困難嗎? 如果本港程度好的國際學校, 有什麼選擇.

你好！我先生當年就是從溫哥華回來考grade 7的。最後考進了King George V，根據他說不太困難。面試要作篇文，校長說他文法很多錯誤！但是內容有新意並有思考，最後順利取錄。另外，你有加拿大護照，也可嘗試CDNIS，會有priority。

My daughter came back from Vancouver to HK when she was in Grade 3. Like others said, it should not be too difficult. The only area of potential concern is Math, since it seems that the BC Math curriculum seems to be lagging a bit. Another thing to bear in mind is that the written admission test usually are designed to be one year above your child's current grade level. For example, your G6 child applying for G7 will be tested for G7 materials. But if your child is currently attending a top private school at Vancouver, these should not be of major concerns to you. The wait list of the popular international schools are very long though. You may want to plan ahead and apply more than one. It is not uncommon to apply for five or six. Happy to share more by pm.
