Does anyone know if HKIS interviews the parents as well (For reception year)?

Last two years school also invited parents to come and have group interview. Just causal chat and self introduction.

Kids are invited to a room for observation while parents are waiting in another room where parents interview was held.

I see. Thank you so much Fatcni! They didn't mention about meeting the parents in the letter, so I thought they would not have the parents interview at all.

I thought the R1 screenings are all done by now.  They started two weeks ago.

Thanks cnh0397! Is your child currently a student there already? Or do you have another kid who just had the interview? Do you know normally when we could hear from them about the resluts?

Yes my kids are in HKIS.  We got the offers within two weeks of the interview.  If I am not mistaken, the first round of offers should go out before the end of March.

I see. Thanks for tye info! Not sure if they have finished screening for all the applicants yet. It looks like they only scheduled the interviews on Saturday, if there are too many applicants, it could take them a couple months to do the screenings.

The kids (totally 14 in a group) were taken into a room to meet with the teachers.  They could play games, read a story, or do some drawing, etc. Parents gathered in another room introduced themselves, filled out some simple form, had some coffee and enjoyed casual chatting...
