Does anyone know how is the school life in GSIS's primary school? My sister's daughter got an offer from GSIS and thinking whether she should go for it or not. How is the workload in P4 and above? I heard they are academic competitive but relatively fewer homework in lower form of primary school?
Congratulations to your sister and her daughter! From what I know GSIS primary is only half day, but true all kids in there are very smart and it's academically demanding. Very little homework, as heavy homework do more harm then good for young children.

I think homework is about half an hour per day on average but it also depends on the class teacher. They do quite a lot of work in the class but usually they finish during class time. If they cannot finish in the class, then they will need to do it at home but this does not happen very often.
