My girl is studying at ESF K1, and she was planned to move to k2 and apply the ESF primary this Sept. BUT, as you know, the interview is not guaranteed to offer even for the kids studying in ESF kinder. So I start to apply some other IS as back up. Fortunately, we got interview from IMS and K2 offer the next day. So surprised!
That's why I cannot sleep now.
She is an independent and creative girl. and went to a Montessori PG since 1.5y. I do buy Montessori method before, until she had some speech delay and social problem. I can't say that I don't blame this environment at all. Now she is totally fine and really likes her school.
My concern is
1. it's non-mainstream. I will be worried about the transition to mainstream.
2. It requires several hours independent work without interruption, I will be worried about her speech and social skills.
3. Does it worth to give up the chance to ESF primary or other IS now? Most admission are not open yet.
I really need some advice from IMS parents, tons of thanks!
